It’s will be my first class, should I come early?

As a first time rider, it is essential that you arrive ready for the class (dressed in your active wear) 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class. This is so we have plenty of time to fit your shoes into the bike, teach you how to set up your bike and making your experience comfortable, relaxed and fun!

What should I wear/ bring?

Wear active wear- clothing that is comfortable to exercise and sweat in. Please also bring or wear socks and a water bottle. Just a heads up, the drink bottle holders on the bike only take the standard size bottles.

Do you provide towels?

As part of the experience, we provide complimentary- cycling shoes and towels and bottles of water for sale.

Do I need to wear the cycling shoes?

As part of the experience, Cycling shoes are complimentary for all participants and all participants are encouraged to wear them. If you do not feel comfortable then it is ok to wear your sneakers but must be strapped into the pedals.

All bikes have adjustable toe cages and straps and compatible with Shimano® SPD® cleats- cycling shoes.

What is the benefit of wearing cycling shoes?

Placement of the shoe allows for maximal power to exert more force tin utilising the large muscles, (quads/glutes). Using the larger muscles groups will increase the ability to burn more calories.
The rigidity of the sole prevents any possible soft tissue injury of the foot that may be obtained from the use of softer sneakers. Sneakers are flexible and therefore cannot effectively transfer the power from foot to the pedal as well as a stiff soled cycling shoe.
Improper shoes and improper foot placement may lead to lower leg and foot pain.

Can I bring my own cycling shoes? What cleats do the bikes take?

Feel free to bring your own cycling shoes, but make sure they are compatible with Shimano® SPD® cleats.

How long do the classes go for?

All classes go for 45minutes in duration, this includes the warm up and the cool down stretches at the end.

What is the difference between each class?

Do I need to be fit to do the class?

The great thing about Infinite Cycle is, you have the control of how hard, or how easy you want to go. The instructor will guide you and encourage the class to follow the pace and the intensity. It is then up to you to decide and take accountability of the amount of resistance and how hard you want to work to getting you on your way to becoming “fitter”.

Is there a beginner’s class?

We recommend you try either Peloton or Rhythm first. Each of these classes are quite different and may suit different tastes and preferences. For example,- if you are a pure cyclist who enjoys metric, i.e. how fast you are going (RPM/ cadence) or the load (watts) you are cycling at and the kms travelled then Peloton is the class for you.

If you enjoy music that allows you to move to the beat, dance and work the upper body as well as the lower body in an energetic, fun environment then we recommend Rhythm.

Each class and instructor will always offer options from beginner riders just starting out to the more experienced riders. At the end of the day you decide what option to chose and to what resistance to select.

Where is the best place to sit?

If you are attending a Peloton class, sitting in the first 2 rows from the stage is recommended for easy sighting of the screens. If you are booked for Rhythm, there is no requirement of seeing the screens, booking 2 or 3rd row from the stage is recommended.

How much is it for a membership?

Can I buy a ride pack?

Do I need to make a booking for each class?

Bookings should be made if you are attending to join a class prior to its start time. We do welcome walks in the event of last minute decision or brining in a friend.

Can I still attend the class if I arrive late?

To ensure duty of care, safety and to minimise class disturbance, entry will not be permitted once the doors have closed (5 minutes after the start time) or to the instructors discretion.

How do I cancel a booked class?

Bookings may be cancelled online, or by calling us at least 12 hours in advance. If a cancelation in made within 12 hours without notification, a credit is deducted from your account.

What if I need to leave early for the class?

Attendance for the whole 45 minute duration of the class is expected. As courtesy to your instructor and to your fellow riders, where there is an occasion where you need to leave, please inform the instructor before the class begins for approval.

Where are your studios located and parking?

Waterloo: 1037-1047 Bourke St Waterloo
Boasting 32 bikes over 200 square metres, the Waterloo studio is located on the first floor of the Wittner Shoe building on Bourke Street, and is situated a mere two minute’s walk from Green Square Station. If you drive, you can park onsite for free before 9am and after 6pm, or alternatively parking spots are located in the surrounding Portman and George Streets.
Change room and shower facilities are located within the studio.
Pitt St CBD: 247 Pitt St Sydney CBD

Offering 29 bikes over appoximately 120 square metres, this studio is located next to Foot Locker on Pitt St. Simply head up to the top of the escalators.
A convenient four-minute walk from Town Hall Station, and situated just 140 meters from Pitt St Mall, this studio is ideal for corporate office workers in the CDB. There are no designated parking spots, however paid parking bays and parking lots can be found close by.

What type of heart rate monitors are compatible with Spivi?

The heart HR monitors provided for sale is compatible with Spivi, otherwise heart rate monitors should support any ANT+ , the Polar H7 / H10 straps are also fine to use. Just a heads up, in order to use it in class with, it needs to be paired with your user profile as created in the Infinite Cycle App. Ask one of our Infinite team on how to set this up for you.
